Being a liar and an accused felon is working with Republican primary voters, but general election voter are different and more discerning. Trump is already shifting into general election mode.

Trump cannot provide any exculpatory evidence to refute or minimize the indictments he faces, so his next best option to accuse Biden of doing similar illegal activity. Trump had been getting an assist in that effort from James Comer, Jim Jordan and the other flying monkeys in and out of Congress.

Trump has a history of accusing his opponents of behavior that he himself is guilty of, the political equivalent of a “No, you are” playground retort. In a 2016 debate, when Hillary Clinton accused Trump of being a Russian puppet, Trump fired back with “You’re the puppet,” a comment he never explained.

Trump told supporters in Iowa that "[Biden and his allies] think they can do whatever they want - break any law, tell any lie, ruin any life, trash any norm, and get away with anything they want." Projection much? It's surprising that Trump, while he was projecting, didn't claim that Biden faces 91 felony charges.

Curt, it really does seem that projection is a fundamental attribute of being a Republican. Our own Hate and od are prime examples of it in fact.

Ponderer, wait for Hts or OD to chime in with "I know you are, but what am I?" in this thread.

    🤣

Or a two hundred. He'd say Biden is facing at least twice as many felonies as he is, or it wouldn't be worth his lying about.

Being a liar and an accused felon...

This is an EFFINredletterday here on SS. This is the first time you added "accused."

Oh, and a little real world. If Trump loses by 2, he wins in a landslide:

    HtS,
Here's a little real world for you. On that RCP page you linked to, there is only one poll of likely voters. In that poll Biden leads by four points. Polls of likely voters are more accurate than polls of all voters or even polls of registered voters. Also you will notice that credible scientific polls don't add up to 100%, meaning that many voters are not totally satisfied with the two likely candidate options.

That undecided group includes many voters like Donna and Ponderer who given their druthers would prefer that Biden not be the Democratic Party nominee, but undoubtedly will vote for Biden over Trump in the general election.

Ultimately, this election will be a referendum on democracy. Biden voters favor democracy; Trump voters prefer autocracy.

    That's us alright.

Exactly the same scenario as last time.

curt- although you continually reference me as a trumpster, I've said over and ove again that I'm hoping this works, although like we both agree, his ego won't let him go easily. That will almost ensure we get dementiajoe another term. Maybe he can grab more boobs in public.

Do I think the dims doing this is valid? Absolutely not. I think they're POSs for doing it this way. And the left is showing they have zero integrity. But that's what's happening.

curt- although you continually reference me as a trumpster,...

    Right.

It's a baha and a curiosity to me that Curt and po, especially, continue to insist that we support Trump.

My guess is that this is what passes for for humor for po...such as it is.

    But, Curt!!!!!? What's your theory?

Why do you deny your lord and master, HtS?

Jesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice." John 13:31–38.
